What Myths Are Made Of

ENCHANTED x DEADPOOL x FOURTH WING

The Hurricane Wars x This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me

A 30-year-old disillusioned romantasy lover must use everything the tropes taught her to end a mythical war, master her own darkness, and charm a ruthless enemy whose light could destroy her, or worse…save her.

Enemies-to-Forbidden-Lovers | Found Family | Women with Big Ass Swords | Chosen Ones Who Shouldn’t Have Been Chosen | Magic & Mental Health | Creature Companions | Fated Bonds

Jet Darrow likes her men the same way she likes her dragons: fictional.

At thirty, the only relationships that have ever survived Jet Darrow are the ones she keeps safely tucked between the pages of romantasy novels. But when she saves a pretentious dragon she’s not supposed to see, and ends up trapping them in a lifebond neither wanted, those fantasies may be her only way back to reality.

Turns out the stories on Jet’s shelves aren’t just real. They’ve been preparing her for a hidden, mythical war. Three kingdoms are up against a hunter stealing power for sport. His army’s only weakness? The darkness under her skin that looks a lot like her own self-destructive tendencies.

There’s one person whose light could tame those unruly shadows, but Rift Atlas is a walking reminder of why dangerous, brooding men belong in books. And not only does he have every reason to want her dragon dead, but he’s also a little busy saving his dying kingdom to play a reluctant heroine’s fucking therapist.

As her shadows grow more deadly, Jet realizes the hunter who's been calling her the villain isn’t entirely wrong. If she wants the hero’s ending, she’ll have to master the only weapon in her arsenal: the tropes she knows by heart. Because if she can’t charm her ruthless enemy into training her, she won’t just lose everything she swears she doesn't love…

She’ll destroy it all by herself.
